About the Role

We are seeking a tech-savvy Client Success Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the Client Success Manager to onboard new clients and configure the Local Business Pro platform to meet each business's unique needs. You will serve as a critical bridge between our technology and the service-based businesses we support, ensuring every client is set up for success from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Client Success Manager to onboard and configure new accounts on the Local Business Pro platform
  • Analyze and map out client customer journeys, breaking down complex business processes into structured, manageable components
  • Configure platform objects and data structures (e.g., service details, customer information fields, job specifications) to ensure the AI can accurately populate and utilize data across jobs, invoices, and estimates
  • Translate industry-specific requirements into platform configurations (e.g., setting up pest control infestation details, HVAC system specifications, plumbing service categories)
  • Provide hands-on training and support to clients during the onboarding process
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues and optimize platform settings to maximize client outcomes
  • Document best practices and contribute to internal knowledge resources

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working in the home service industry OR hands-on experience with industry CRMs such as PestPac, ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Workiz, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated experience with large language models (LLMs) beyond basic usage — specifically using AI to extract data, automate workflows, or perform real-world tasks
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems and processes into clear, actionable steps
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) with clear pronunciation and minimal accent
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills — you genuinely enjoy working with people and helping clients succeed
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software platforms and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience working with service-based businesses (pest control, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, landscaping, etc.)
  • Background in customer success, implementation, or client onboarding roles
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering or configuring AI-powered tools
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools or no-code/low-code platforms
