Local Business Pro is a CRM, field service management, and AI-powered communication platform built for home service businesses.
We help companies like pest control businesses, HVAC companies, electricians, plumbers, arborists, general contractors, and other service-based businesses manage their customer relationships, jobs, follow-up, scheduling, payments, and communication in one place.
Our product is also heavily focused on AI. We are building tools that help local service companies answer calls, follow up with leads, organize customer communication, and automate parts of their operations so they can grow without losing the personal touch that makes their business successful.
About the Role
This is not a basic appointment-setting role.
We are looking for someone who can manage a full sales development pipeline, build and nurture relationships, understand customer pain points, and create qualified opportunities through consultative selling.
You will be working with U.S.-based home service companies and channel partners to introduce Local Business Pro, identify gaps in their current systems, and help move qualified opportunities toward demos, onboarding, and long-term customer success.
You will also play an important role in making sure new customers are handed off properly to our Client Success team. That means setting the right expectations during the sales process, documenting customer needs, and helping ensure that every new client has a strong start after they sign up.
What You'll Do
- Prospect, qualify, and nurture sales opportunities with U.S. home service businesses
- Manage your own pipeline inside our CRM, follow up with leads, book qualified demos, and help move opportunities through the sales process
- Work with channel partners and referral partners to create joint-selling opportunities and build long-term relationships that lead to high-quality customers
- Use consultative selling and gap-selling methods to understand where prospects are struggling with missed calls, poor follow-up, messy scheduling, disconnected systems, lack of visibility, or manual processes
- Learn our software deeply so you can speak confidently about CRM, field service management, AI receptionist tools, automations, customer communication, and operational workflows
- Help prepare strong handoffs to the Client Success team by documenting the customer's goals, pain points, expectations, and setup needs
- Help make sure customers are sold the right way, with clear expectations, so they have a higher chance of long-term success
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with strong sales experience, excellent English, and the ability to speak confidently with U.S. small business owners.
The ideal candidate has experience selling or working with:
- CRM software
- Field service management software
- SaaS products
- Home service businesses
- Marketing services for local businesses
- AI, automation, or business operations software
- Channel partners, referral partners, or joint-selling relationships
Experience with trades is a huge bonus, especially if you have worked with or sold to pest control companies, HVAC companies, electricians, plumbers, arborists, roofers, general contractors, lawn care or landscaping companies, or other local service businesses.
You May Be a Great Fit If You
- Have experience as an SDR, BDR, inside sales rep, appointment setter, account executive, sales consultant, or similar sales role
- Are comfortable calling, emailing, texting, and following up with prospects
- Know how to ask good questions and uncover real business problems
- Are not afraid of rejection and can stay consistent with follow-up
- Are organized enough to manage a pipeline without letting leads fall through the cracks
- Are tech savvy and comfortable learning new software quickly
- Are excited about AI and how it can help small businesses operate better
- Can communicate clearly with both prospects and internal teams
- Understand that a good sale is not just about closing the customer — it is about setting the customer up for success after they buy
Requirements
- Fluent or near-fluent English
- Able to work U.S. business hours
- 2+ years of sales, SDR, BDR, or pipeline development experience
- Strong phone presence and written communication skills
- Experience using CRMs or sales pipeline tools
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and follow-up
- Comfortable working remotely
- Reliable internet, computer, and professional work environment
Strong Bonuses

Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and performance. We are open to discussing a structure that includes base compensation plus performance bonuses for qualified demos, closed customers, and successful partner-driven opportunities.
