How to set your public business information

Last Updated: August 08, 2024

The Public Business Information Section is where essential contact details and operational information of your business are stored. This includes the business hours, email addresses, phone numbers, physical address, and any other pertinent contact details.

Why is having your public business information important?

When customers inquire about these specifics, the AI Receptionist will refer to this section to provide accurate and consistent information. This ensures that all customer queries regarding business operations and contact methods are handled efficiently and correctly, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Website URL

The web address is where customers can find detailed information about your business and its services. This is typically the homepage, but it can also be a specific landing page or any webpage you prefer the AI Receptionist to mention when someone asks for your website address.

Phone

This is the primary contact number for reaching the business. This is typically the same number listed on your website and social media accounts. It should not be confused with your LBP bot number, unless you prefer the AI Receptionist to provide the LBP bot number.

Public Email

The main email address for customer inquiries and communication. (ex. admin@mywebsite.com, contact@mysite.com)

Organization

The name of the business or entity.

Business Address

The name of the business or entity.

Service Areas

The geographic regions where the business operates. (e.g., within a 30-mile radius of Houston, Texas, or all states in the US). You can either list your service area generally or list out each city specifically.

Default Time Zone

This is the time zone in which the business operates. It’s used for scheduling and communications, so it’s critical to have it listed correctly.

Business Hours

The standard hours of operation when the business is open and available to customers.
